The Icebox Radio Theater exists as an education and charitable and literary group dedicated to the study, practice and production of radio theater and the related arts to include, but not to be limited to script writing, production, acting, sound effects, music composition and directing.  The Icebox Radio Theater strives to provide quality radio theater programs and related events for the greater enjoyment and appreciation of the people of International Falls, Minnesota, its surrounding communities and the general public.  The Icebox Radio Theater provides opportunities and encouragement to anyone having an active interest in theater and related arts, including students and community members, to sue their tales, energies and ideas in the accomplishment of our goals.

The Icebox Radio Theater podcast joins Red House Art Radio in the midst of their Summer Season.  This premier episode features a classic of Old Time Radio: ‘I Love a Mystery’ by legendary producer Carlton E. Morse. Jeff, the host, introduces two chapters from the epic pulp story: ‘Temple of Vampires’ and gives some insight into how an adventure serial produced for 9-year-old boys has such a lasting and loyal following. Plus, Jeff gives you the link to enjoy the Icebox Radio Theater’s recent appearance on the evening news! And no, they didn’t appear in handcuffs.

You can access this and past episodes of The Icebox Radio Theater on their website at www.iceboxradio.org.
